On June 29th, Company 5 was alerted for a vehicle accident along Interstate 80 near the 116 mile marker westbound. Initial reports indicated two vehicles with one vehicle over a guide rail. Heavy traffic was reported in the area due to a previous crash.Rescue & Engine 5  responded arriving on scene to find two tractor trailer involved with no vehicles off the roadway. Crews assisted EMS with patient treatment and scene cleanup until PennDOT could arrive. Units operated on scene for approximately 45 minutes.
