Purchased in 2004, this rig is equipped with an 8 man cab, 515HP 60 Series Detroit 14.0L engine with a total of ( 9) Roll-O-Matic roll up doors. It contains (1) Hurst Trimo & (1) Hurst Simo unit that power 5 pre-connect Hurst tools including (2) spreader/ combination tools , (2) “O” cutters and (3) various sized Hurst rams, (2) Hurst eDRAULIC battery powered Cutter and Spreader.  (1) RHYNO Windshield Cutter kit.  (1) DeWALT battery powered tool Kit.

This unit functions as a first due rescue in the surrounding Clearfield counties and covers Interstate 80 both East and West from the 121 mile marker to the 107.9 mile marker.

Rescue 5 contains a set of high pressure air bags, and set of low pressure air bags, a 30KW generator with a 9KW extendable light tower and (8) surrounding body scene lights. Rescue 5 also contains 5 SCBA-MSA jump pack seats, a  6 ton Warn winch located in the front bumper, built in J-Air air Compressor and stokes basket, and contains other miscellaneous hand tools, rope rescue kit, Sthil chain and rotary saws.

This Unit is also PA Department of Health certified as a QRS (quick response service).
