On January 17th, Company 5 was alerted for a vehicle accident along Interstate 80 near mile marker 108 westbound. Initial reports indicated a single tractor trailer blocking the roadway. Weather conditions were to also be hazardous in the area. Upon arrival crews confirmed the report with a single tractor trailer blocking the roadway. Crews assisted EMS with patient assessment and traffic control. Units operated on scene until PSP could arrive on scene with towing.
