On November 1st, Company 5 was dispatched to a tractor trailer rollover with injury along Interstate 80 near the 120 Clearfield exit. Initial reports indicated unknown injuries or entrapment, however 911 quickly received additional information confirming entrapment.

Chief and Rescue 5 responded to which Chief 5 arrived on scene first confirming the report of a single occupant entrapped. The call was determined to be located in Bradford Twp to which an additional fire units were added to the box. Rescue 5 arrived on scene seconds after Chief 5 using the Hurst spreaders and cutters to gain access to the driver. Upon completion of extrication the driver was able to be removed and turned over to EMS for treatment. It was later determined the driver was hauling a full trailer load of beer.  Crews operated on scene for approximately one hour before turning the scene over to PSP and towing. Total time for extrication was just under 5 minutes.
