On August 20th, Company 5 was dispatched to a commercial vehicle fire along Interstate 80 at the 120 mile marker. Initial reports indicated the unit was to be on the Clearfield exit off ramp. Chief and Engine 5 responded arriving on scene to find a fully involved trailer with the tractor disconnected. Crews on Engine 5 went to work extinguishing the fire without issue. The truck was later found to contain Tofu. Units then provided traffic control until towing could arrive.
