The 2nd accident of the day was dispatched around 445 for a vehicle accident reported to be head on with possible entrapment. Company 5 units responded and were advised that there was no entrapment and minor injuries. Company 5 manpower provided traffic control until the arrival of a salt truck and towing.

Saturday morning members participated in a vehicle rescue refresher sponsored by the Clearfield Fire Dept. Several depts came together to practice skills on vehicle rescue tactics. Shortly after finishing up from the training, a fire alarm was alerted at Revived and Company. Deputy 5 arrived shortly after dispatch and reported smoke from cooking tripped the alarm and all units could go available. Around 15:00hrs company 5 was alerted to assist the BJW Volunteer Fire Company with a working house fire on Main Street in Woodland. Engine 5 was given orders to lay a supply line from the hydrant a short distance from the scene. After a water supply was established, members assisted with fire suppression and overhaul.

The final call came in around noon today to assist Penfield (41) with a working fire on the State Park Road (Route 153). Chief 41 arrived and advised fire showing and requested a 2nd alarm for water and manpower. Company 5 remained on scene for a few hours before clearing.

We would also like to thank our friends from Glen Richey Station 7 for the use of their engine for the week while engine 5 traveled to Glick Fire Equipment for routine maintenance and minor repairs. Fortunately, no responses came in before engine 5 returned to service Friday evening.
