On July 16th, Company 5 was dispatched for a commercial vehicle accident along Interstate 80. Initial reports indicated a tractor trailer into an embankment with injuries, blocking traffic. Rescue 5 responded arriving on scene to confirm the initial report. The driver was found to be self extricated and turned over to EMS for care. Crews established traffic control and mitigated a fuel leak until towing arrived.
