On November 11th, Company 5 was alerted to a vehicle accident along the Rockton Mtn Hwy. directly in front of the Florian Banquet Center. Upon arrival crews encountered a single vehicle which had struck the end of a guide rail before rolling over, entrapping the driver. Crews were able to extricate the driver by removing the windshield. The single occupant was then flown to Altoona Regional Hospital for treatment. This accident occurred approximately one hour before the departments annual Cash Bash in the Florian Banquet Center.
