On October 9th, Company 5 was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident along Interstate 80 near the 108 westbound mile marker. Initial reports indicated unknown injuries, unknown entrapment. Chief 5 along with Rescue 5 responded arriving on scene to find the sole occupant self extricated with negative injuries. Crews provided traffic control and scene lighting until towing and PSP could arrive.  Crews cleared shortly after.
