On May 29, 2017 Company 5 was alerted for a vehicle fire along Interstate 80 at the 120 off ramp. Upon arrival crews found a working fire on a car hauler with seven vehicles. With the fire spreading rapidly, crews from Engine 5 arrived on scene pulling two hand lines to extinguish the fire. ​Crews operated on scene for approximately one hour.
