On December 12th, 2024 Members attended the 1st annual “Wreaths Across America” ceremony held at the Historic Crown Crest Cemetery. Earlier in the year, a few Community members came together with the intention to bring the ceremony to Clearfield. With a lot of hard work, money was raised to cover the cost of over 1,000 wreaths to be laid on the headstones of local Veterans.

After the ceremony, members assisted with the laying of the wreaths. We were honored to be able to assist with project, and look forward to next years event.

Wreaths Across America is a nonprofit organization that honors veterans, active-duty military, and their families by placing wreaths on their graves:

This annual event takes place on the second or third Saturday of December at over 4,200 locations across the United States. Volunteers place live wreaths on the headstones of veterans.
