At 14:41Hrs company 5 was alerted to a reported multiple tractor trailer crash with unknown extent of injuries or entrapment on Interstate 80 near the 115 mile marker. Upon arrival of Chief 9 from the Grampian Penn Bloom Fire Company who was in the area, confirmed 3 tractor trailers involved, one of which lost its load of Onions causing one lane restriction. 3 Patients with minor injuries, negative entrapment. He also confirmed an active fuel leak from one of the trucks fuel tanks. Upon fluid control being established, D.E.P. Was notified and PENNDOT took over lane restriction as hazmat clean up crews arrived. Crews operated for approximately over an hour.
