On 05/24/2026 at 1640 hours, Company 5 was dispatched to Rockton Mountain Hwy in the area of Turnpike Ave Ext for a reported single-vehicle accident with possible entrapment. Callers were reporting that a vehicle had overturned and went off the roadway with an occupant still inside. Upon arrival, crews located a SUV off the roadway with 1 patient entrapped complaining of minor injuries. Fire personnel completed extrication operations while EMS prepared the patient for transport. Units operated on scene for a short time controlling hazards before going available. Assistant 5 had command.
