On 08/30/2026, members of Company 5 and surrounding fire departments completed a Man vs. Machine training course taught by Tactical Resource Fire Training LLC.

Throughout the day, crews worked through entanglement and impalement scenarios, non-conventional rescue techniques, and ring- and auger-related rescues. The training focused on low-occurrence, high-risk incidents that require specialized skills, critical thinking, and teamwork.

A huge thank-you to the instructors from Tactical Resource Fire Training LLC for traveling to Central Pennsylvania to provide this valuable training, and to all the departments that participated. Training together helps strengthen our skills and better prepares us to handle challenging rescue situations.
