On 08/30/2026, members of Company 5 and surrounding fire departments participated in an Advanced Vehicle Extrication class instructed by Tactical Resource Fire Training LLC.

Crews spent the day practicing hands-on rescue techniques involving vehicles resting on their sides, rollover crashes, and school bus extrication. This valuable training provided firefighters with practical experience and skills to better prepare them for complex vehicle rescue incidents.

A special thank-you to Fire & Rescue Products of Harrisburg for providing demonstration equipment and supporting the training, and to Novey Recycling for providing the training location and vehicles.
