On April 18th, a winter weather advisory was issued to Clearfield County by the National Weather Service. At approximately 2pm, Company 5 was first alerted for a motor vehicle accident along State Park Road with injuries. Shortly after clearing Rescue 5 was then dispatched to Interstate 80 for multiple vehicle accidents resulting from changing weather conditions. Crews spent the majority of the day responding to incidents to which included areas of Rockton Mtn Hwy and surrounding jurisdictions. Please be aware of changing weather conditions as the evening approaches.
