Company 5 members participated in the annual 9/11 memorial service held at Witmer Park in Clearfield . This year marked the 20th anniversary of the tragic attack on America. Several emergency service personnel, Military, Commissioners, State Representatives, Clergy, Boy Scouts, and Clearfield residents participated in the ceremony.
Company 5 volunteers were busy this past weekend sharpening skills with numerous trainings. Saturday morning members were busy with vehicle extrications while Sunday a joint training session took place in an acquired structure.
On March 9th, Company 5 hosted its annual Jeff Buck Memorial ride to honor its own fallen firefighter who passed away in a LODD. Company 5 would like to thank all those who participated and attended the event. May we never forget the sacrifice Buck made to his community.
On November 22nd, Company 5 took possession of its 2019 AFG Award package from The Rescue Store of Mercer PA.

Lawrence Township Fire Co # 1 recently achieved all requirements by the PA Department of Health to become a certified QRS (quick response service).
Company 5 members recently attended the Clearfield County Fair parade in which they took home the award of Best Appearing Company.
Friday evening Company 5 members participated in live fire training at the DuBois Fire Academy. Crews practiced stretching hand lines, conducting primary searches, and fire extinguishment.
