Saint Francis & LTFD
Recently, members participated in an event at Saint Francis School in Clearfield along with the Clearfield Fire Dept, Clearfield EMS, and Clearfield Regional Police.
Winter Storm
On Jaunary 6th members of Company 5 were kept busy due to winter storm “Ember”. Several crashes along Interstate 80 occurred along with a mutual aid call with Clearfield Fire Dept. We would like to thank Pizza Hut of Clearfield for the surprise donation of pizza.
Christmas AFA
On December 25th, 2023 Engine 5 was dispatched to an automatic fire alarm at Leonard Court Apartments on Leonard Street. Crews arrived to find a smoke filled apartment with Christmas dinner “well done”. The building was ventilated and crews cleared within a half hour.
Extrication on Rockton Mtn
On December 24th, Company 5 was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident along Rockton Mountain Highway near Flegal Road in Lawrence Township. Rescue 5 arrived on scene and completed a door pop assisting EMS with patient extrication. Units then provided scene cleanup before clearing.
Shop With A Hero
On December 20th, Company 5 hosted the first annual “Shop with a Hero” event at Clearfield Walmart. MVC w/ Injuries
On December 7th, 2023 Company 5 was dispatched to a single vehicle crash along Interstate 80 near the 115 mile marker. Rescue and Command 5 responded arriving on scene to find a single car off the roadway into the median. Crews assisted EMS with patient care while providing traffic control before clearing.
