On December 20th, Company 5 was dispatched to a vehicle accident with entrapment along Interstate 80 near mile marker 110 westbound. Initial reports indicated a multi-vehicle pile up due to changing weather conditions. Crews arrived on scene, extricating one patient while assisting EMS with critical care. Crews then provided traffic control until the roadway could be reopened. Members were assisted by Penfield Company 41 and Clearfield Company 1.
