On 4/12/24 Company 5 was dispatched to a motor vehicle crash along Interstate 80 near exit 120 eastbound.

Initial reports indicated a tractor trailer on its side. Deputy and Rescue 5 responded and were updated by EMS on scene confirming heavy entrapment. Additional resources from from Clearfield Boro were requesting. Crews worked for approximately 45 minutes before being able to free the patient. Units later provided fluid mitigation and traffic control until towing could arrive. Interstate 80 was shutdown temporarily during the incident.
