On 09/17/2026, Company 5 responded to a motor vehicle crash involving fire and entrapment on Interstate 80 eastbound near mile marker 116 in Lawrence Township. Tragically, the crash resulted in the death of the driver. Our thoughts and deepest condolences go out to the victim’s family, friends, and everyone affected by this incident.

Interstate 80 eastbound was shut down for several hours as emergency crews worked at the scene and authorities investigated the crash.
