Company 5 was dispatched for an automatic fire alarm in a high rise complex.  Chief 5 and Engine 5 responded, once on scene crews found light smoke conditions in the apartment. 

After initial investigation crews found a  small extension cord that overheated and burnt due to being overloaded.  Apartment was then ventilated and units cleared the scene.
