On August 18th, Company 5 responded to a multi vehicle accident along Interstate 80 near MM116 eastbound. Crews arrived on scene to find multiple vehicles which were involved in a backlog crash with extensive injuries . A total of two helicopters were flown from the scene with the roadway shutdown for over 8 hours.
