On September 29th Company 5 responded to a vehicle accident along the Clearfield Shawville Hwy near the Daisy Street off ramp. Initial reports indicated a single vehicle accident with unknown injuries.

Upon arrival crews found a single car which had entered in to an active construction zone and wrecked in to a large gap in an overpass bridge. The driver was then stuck inside the vehicle with no way to exit. Rescue 5 crews responded and were able to safely remove the driver without issues. The driver was then transported to Clearfield Hopsital for treatment.
