On July 19th Company 5 was alerted for a vehicle accident along Interstate 80 near mile marker 112 Westbound. Upon arrival crews found a box truck rear ended a tractor trailer extrapping the driver of the box truck. Crews used hydraulic tools to extricate the male, who was later flown from the scene via medical helicopter.  Interstate 80 was shut down for a period of time, to which crews assisted PennDot with clean up and traffic control.
