On March 15 Company 5 was alerted for a vehicle crash along Interstate 80 near mile marker 112 eastbound.

Initial reports were of two tractor trailers blocking the roadway. Rescue 5 and Engine 5 responded arriving on scene to find two tractor trailers into each other with a large debris field. Crews assisted EMS with patient assessment and determined neither occupant was injured. Members provided scene cleanup and traffic control. Units operated on scene for one hour.
