On August 5th, Company 5 was alerted for a vehicle fire along Interstate 80 near exit 111. Engine and Squad 5 responded and while enroute were advised the fire was out, however a tire had fell off the vehicle and was on fire in the woods. Crews arrived on scene extinguishing a small nuisance fire without issue.
