On January 24th, Company 5 was alerted to the 114 Interstate 80 eastbound for a motor vehicle accident with entrapment. Initial reports indicated a single car rollover with a male pinned underneath the vehicle.

Rescue 5 and Deputy 5 responded to which Deputy 5 arrived on scene confirming the report. Crews from Company 5 along with Penfield Fire Department then stabilized the vehicle using Hurt Edraulics to extricate the patient. A medical helicopter was then summoned to the scene to which he was the flown to a local hospital. Total extrication was under 9 minutes. Crews operated on scene for just over an hour.
