On June 18th, Company 5 was alerted for an outside fire along Old Penfield Road in Lawrence Township. Initial calls reported a tree on fire that was spreading beside the roadway. Engine and Squad 5 responded arriving on scene to find a hollowed out tree that was burning inside. Crews extinguished the fire and notified PD of the incident. Units operated on scene for approximately one hour.
