The last few days have kept members busy handling a total of 24 emergency calls for service due to inclement weather. The calls included traffic control, vehicle accidents, tree and wires down, and a house fire. Seventeen Company 5 members spent several man hours answering these calls.

Today, members caught a break from emergency calls to assist the Steve Livergood Jr Christmas Eve group with delivering meals and gifts to families in the Clearfield area. This yearly event takes a lot of collaboration from several different non profit groups and generous volunteers. In all, 1300 meals were served or delivered, along with 160 children were gifted presents.

As Christmas day nears, the Officers and Members of the Lawrence Township Volunteer Fire Co #1 would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas.
