On April 18th, Company 5 was dispatched for a tractor trailer fire along Interstate 80 at the 109 westbound. Crews arrived to find a well involved truck that was hauling frozen chickens. Tanker 41 from Penfield was requested to the scene to assist. This is the third vehicle fire in 24 hrs for Company 5.
