On May 23rd Company 5 was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident along Interstate 80 near the 114MM eastbound. Upon arrival crews found a single vehicle blocking traffic with fluids leaking. Crews provided traffic control while assisting EMS.

Upon clearing from that scene Rescue 5 crews came across a second MVA at the 115MM eastbound involving a single unit with negative injuries. Crews provided cleanup while conducting traffic control until PSP could arrive. The box was later placed available by Chief 5.
