On April 5th, Company 5 was dispatched to the address of 212 Hill Street for a reported structure fire. Initial 911 calls indicated flames and smoke visible from underneath the residence.

Assistant 5 arrived on scene and confirmed that report. Engine 5 arrived on scene along with units from Clearfield Boro Fire Department placing a hand line in service to extinguish the fire. Damage was contained to a minimum. Assistant 5 placed additional units available prior to their arrival. Crews operated on scene for approximately 45 minutes.
