On May 6th around 03:13hrs, communications alerted Company 5 for a vehicle fire in the area of the 120 mile marker exit ramp west bound on interstate 80. Upon arrival of engine 5, they confirmed a large commercial box truck fully involved. Crews worked fast to get a quick knock on the fire using the front bumper attack line. Squad 5 also responded with additional manpower and operated for over an hour.
