Truck vs Bridge

On July 28, 2025 Company 5 was alerted for a truck vs train bridge in the area of River Road and High Level Road in Lawrence Township. Working Fire

On July 16th, Company 5 was alerted to assist the Rescue Hose & Ladder with a house fire in the area of Carr’s Hill, Pike Township.

Rollover

On July 9th, Company 5 was dispatched to a single vehicle crash along I-80 near MM 114 westbound. Initial reports indicated a vehicle roll over with entrapment and fire.

I-80 Crash

On July 2nd, Company 5 was alerted for traffic control along Interstate 80 near mile marker 112 Eastbound. Initial reports were of a single jack knifed tractor trailer.

Severe Weather

On March 16th, 2025, LTFD responded to over 45 weather related emergencies such as trees down, electrical hazards, and a structure collapse all within Lawrence Township.

Working Fire

On March 12th, 2025 Engine 5 responded to a 3rd alarm structure fire in Winburne Fire Company Number One‘s first due area. Crews assisted with fire suppression and overhaul. Thank you to Sykesville Fire Department for the transfer and standby during the incident.

Remembering LT Buck

On March 9th members held a private ceremony to remember Lieutenant Jeffrey Buck who was injured in a house fire on March 3rd, 2015. Jeff passed away from his injuries on March 9th, 2015.
