On September 28th, Company 5 was dispatched to a vehicle accident along Interstate 80 near MM123 in Bradford Twp. Crews responded along with an additional rescue from Clearfield Boro Fire Department. Upon arrival crews found a single patient who was stuck inside her vehicle with serious injuries. Crews from both Company 5 & Company 1 extricated the patient with hydraulic tools to which she was then turned over to EMS care. A landing zone was later established with the patient being flown from the scene. Crews operated on scene just over an hour.
