At the hour of 10:45 this morning, Company 5 was alerted for a tractor trailer on fire in the area of mile marker 120 East bound on interstate 80. Upon arrival, it was confirmed the truck was disconnected from the trailer, which was fully involved hauling cheese. Crews stretched an attack line along with Engine 1 from the Clearfield Borough Volunteer Fire Department. Once the fire was knocked down, Engine-Tanker 6 from the Hyde Volunteer Fire Department was requested to the scene with manpower to assist with overhaul operations. All units operated for approximately 2 hours.
